Respecting the Circle of Life Cultural Summer Camp

Indian Health Board and Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center (MIWRC) is inviting youth to take part in the Respecting the Circle of Life (RCL) program to learn healthy behaviors for preventing pregnancy and substance use and maintaining a healthy eating habits and nutrition.

The program will take place at cultural summer camp from 10 AM to 1 PM over eight (8) sessions from JULY 15 to JULY 25, 2019. At camp, we will participate in cultural activities and teachings. Youth should encourage their friends and family to join. Metro Transit passes are available for free transportation to and from the camp. The camp will provide lunch and snacks for participants. After camp, the youth and their parent or trusted adult will sign up for an education session together. No camp Friday, July 19, 2019.
